Visiting with USA Passport America membership in motor home. Office staff friendly and helpful. Has a few free wireless internet "hot spots" in the park. Restaurant has limited hours and full-time bar and pool room. Two swimming pools and hot water jacuzzi. During our stay one of the park residents shot two rounds, one hitting another trailer. Was shot by the Riverside County Sheriff's SWAT team. Everyone was helpful and offered their RV for us to stay in during the 9 hour incident. Residents bought us free drinks and snacks, and apologized for the incident. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
Has two large swimming pools and several hot water spas. Has an adult only, excellent activity center and one separate one for the kids. Poor WiFi access in certain sections of the park where we stayed in the 200's section, no reception for the paid WiFi. Free slow WiFi at the adult activity center. Good all around place for kids as well as adults. Friendly staff. Well stocked country store that is available to the general public. Great equipment in the adult exercise room. Many sites back into the green water canals. It is fun to see all the aquatic birds in the canal, and some ducks coming over to your RV to beg for food. We used our RPI membership to pay the 10 bucks per day. I gave it a 10 because the breeze was blowing the correct way during our very enjoyable stay, this year.
Rate reflects "Coast to Coast membership" reduced rates. Wife was impressed with clean bathrooms and laundry room. TV over-the-air reception is excellent. Wi-fi is available for a fee. Sites not level from side to side, used leveling blocks. I would stay here again. Adjacent to RV campground are long term trailers and appear to have permanent residents.
Receptionist offered Triple AAA discount, without me asking for it. Nice touch, save a buck and a half. Must register at Motel office then go across the highway to the RV campground. No public bathrooms or showers, nor laundry room in campground. No over-the-air TV reception. Gravel sites slope toward the Little Colorado River. Shell Station at Trading post does not sell Diesel. Sites are gravel and so is the roadway access to them. I would use them again for an over night stay. No packs of loose dogs as some have previously posted. Saw only one loose dog, walking with children going to the employee trailer housing at North side of the RV campground. WiFi is only available for the motel guests. The Trading post across the RV campground has a good restaurant and Native Indian store.
Need to drive through most of the campground to reach the office. Friendly receptionist. Sites are cut out or filled on side of a hill. Narrow roadway to the sites with tight turns, not big-rig friendly. Only one over-the-air TV station available ( ABC ). Campground is adjacent to the Interstate 70, some trucks illegally use their motors for braking..loud at night. Good location in Glenwood Springs. I would use it again, for over-night stay. Price seems high for the amenities, but it is a good location to the town.
Stayed in a class C motor home. Paid $17 a night, with a Passport America discount. Has gravel pads for the RV and adjacent concrete pad for bench. No bench provided. Has WiFi available for a fee. Although did not charge me for the WiFi on my overnight stay. Place is very kept up and clean. Friendly office staff. RV hardware store adjacent to this RV park, is very handy. Restaurant about half a block away. Have been here before and will continue to stay at his park, for overnight stays.
Andrew, the receptionist, was courteous and greeted us with a smile. Gave us our Good Sam discount. They add a mandatory $4 to the basic camp fee for cable TV whether you use it or not. Place was very clean. Free shuttle from Casino to the Fremont Street area (old Las Vegas) and to Harrah's Casino and to the Riviera Casino, on the "Strip". Wi-Fi is available for a fee on an expensive 24 hour daily basis or a cheaper weekly basis. I have been here before and will continue to use this park. Casino has a good buffet for the price, compared to the big Casinos at the "Strip." If you do not want to eat at the Buffet, there are several fast food places inside the Sam's Town Casino to eat economically.
We went on a Coast to Coast membership, rate is $10 a night. Wifi was extra. Cable TV was $1 extra a day. Lower area is cheaper than the upper area that costs $7 more a day. Upper area sites have 50 amp service and larger sites. Lower area does not have tables and sites are narrower. Store is a little on the small side, but has a little cafe (3 tables) for hot sandwiches and small tv meals. Very friendly staff. I will stay there again, in the lower area. Pool in lower and upper area. Upper area pool is larger and fancier clubhouse than the lower area clubhouse. All areas are accessible to every one.
The staff was friendly. I liked the forest feel to the campground; it did not feel crowded. Beware of the air raid siren at night. It is the call to the Fire Dept that there is an accident and they are needed. There is a small store and fishing pond. There is easy access to Glacier National Park. We would stay there again. We stayed there 2 nights.
The staff was friendly, and the park was clean. The nearby local town is White Sulfur Springs. Office building has a room to socialize and watch TV. There is a very small store and fishing pond. Some nearby horses will come to you across the street, if you don't scare them. This is a very quiet RV park. We would stay there again, if passing through. There is nearby fishing holes and rivers.
Outragiously expensive !!!! Cost us $66 a night to sleep in our own 25 ft motor home. They are the only RV campground in the expensive, picturesque western style Jackson Hole town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wireless internet is not free, it cost $1 per day. You would think it would be free, at the price one has to pay for the site. Has nearby free bus shuttle into town. Across the street has shopping center, pharmacy, restaurants, radio shack, etc. Has very convenient location to shopping and stores. The location is great ! the price is very bad !If you paid $66 a night for a month, it would cost you $1980 a month, compared to the one bedroom apartments across the street are only $900 per month (I talked to an apartment resident)...I will not stay there again, because of the price...there are some less expensive rv parks outside of town, some distance away, along highway 89
Lot is fully graveled, good drainage. Sites are fairly level. 30 amp service site are $20, the 50amp service sites are $30 a night. The laundry and bathroom-showers are clean. There is a (walking distance) new "Lisa" restaurant that the locals frequent, with decent prices, and relaxing. Can hear the train go by in the distance at night, Staff is very friendly when they are available in the office. If they are not there, pick a site, and use the drop in envelope or wait until they open up the office..is is very casual low stress check-in. I will stay here again, as a rest stop while traveling through Utah. Some shade tree sites are available. No swimming pool. No wireless internet available.
The facilities are excellent; immaculate clean club house with interior swimming pool. Wireless internet coverage is poor at outer edges of park. You will be hit for a $29 surcharge regardless of how long you stay (even for one night) for the LP gas to the bar-b-que grill that is furnished for you (space A8) whether you want it or not. They do not tell you that up front. I gave it a 5 only because of the surprise $29 "got you" before you check out. I would NOT use that facility again.
Very small RV campground. 30 amp hook ups are available. Friendly staff, office is a 5th wheel trailer. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The outstanding feature of this park is that is only a few blocks from the downtown shopping center of the town of West Yellowstone. Price is very reasonable, compared to the KOA a few miles south of the town. Only about 2 blocks is a large bay wash rack, can accommodate medium sized RV's. Has nearby restaurants. Would use the site again to visit Yellowstone National Park.
